This is 1979, the initial days of Iranian Revolution. A political strife already began between Iran’s new government and the USA. This tension culminated into the Revolutionary Guards rushing into US embassy in Tehran and taking everyone hostage. Only six Americans were able to flee in the last seconds. They took refuge in the Canadian Ambassador’s house. The US government conjured up a plan of rescue with the help of one exfiltration expert Tony Mendez. He faked to be an associate producer, looking for locations in Tehran for a Hollywood movie. This is the thrilling story of his sole efforts that may get all of them killed if the reality were exposed. (Rated R)
