Story is set in 162 London, where two teenage girls who are close friends live a life which is incomplete without the other. They discuss things and play truant together. But the cold war scenario with hovering danger of nuclear war, changed the sexual and social orientation of the people. Movie tells us how the lives of the two are affected and how their lifelong friendship is shattered.
